The application fee covers your background and driving-record check. The deposit is paid when you sign — all at once, or $75 a week for four weeks — and the refundable balance comes back within 14 days of return and final inspection, with an itemized statement. Your first week is due at pickup, along with a credit card kept on file.

What does a month cost? The minimum term is one month, billed weekly: $425 a week for the Model 3 or $599 for the Model Y. Rent is priced for a rental of 31 days or longer; a rental that ends before day 31 owes Utah's short-term rental taxes, about 12.5%, on all rent paid (rental agreement §14). Costs on top of rent include your insurance, charging, and any tolls and citations, as listed above, and the rental agreement sets out every charge. Mileage
The Toyota Camry Hybrid has unlimited rideshare miles — drive it as much as Uber and Lyft will give you. The Model 3 and Model Y each include 5,000 miles a month, measured as 1,250 a week; past that in any week it is $0.30 a mile on the Model 3 and $0.40 a mile on the Model Y, and a short week never offsets a long one. On every car, including the Camry, personal (non-rideshare) use is limited to 500 miles a month ($0.15 a mile beyond that on the Camry and Model Y, $0.30 on the Model 3), because the coverage behind these rentals is written for rideshare work — and no mile is ever billed twice. Renters on an earlier agreement keep the mileage terms they signed.
