Can You Rent a Car for One Week?

Not from Atrium. We bill rent weekly, $425 a week for a Tesla Model 3 and $599 for a Tesla Model Y, but the minimum rental is one month, and rent is priced for a rental of 31 days or longer. We rent only to drivers with an active Uber or Lyft account.

What Are Atrium's Weekly Car Rental Rates?

Rent is due in advance each week, plus tax.

TeslaWeekly rentWeekly rent ÷ 7Miles a weekEach extra mile
Model 3 · Long Range · Dual Motor AWD$425$60.711,250$0.30
Model Y · 2026 Long Range AWD$599$85.571,250$0.40

The 1,250 weekly miles are the 5,000-a-month allowance, measured each week from the day and hour you picked up the car. Personal (off-app) driving is limited to 500 of those miles a month. The full list of fees is on the pricing page and in the rental agreement.

What Does the Weekly Payment Include?

1,250miMiles Included Each Week
RoutineMaintenance Included
BasicRoadside Included

Rent covers the car, routine maintenance, registration, basic roadside and 1,250 miles. Costs on top of rent include:

Charging

Paid by you. Supercharging is billed weekly at Tesla's rates plus a 10% service fee. The fleet's measured charging cost across seven Atrium cars in August 2026 averaged $16.73 a day, about $117 a week.

Insurance

Bring a policy that meets Utah minimums and upload proof. If it lacks collision and comprehensive cover, you add the Loss Damage Waiver at $120 a week.

Tax

Added to each week's rent; every rate on this page is before tax. Rent is priced for a rental of 31 days or longer, and a rental that ends before day 31 owes Utah's short-term rental taxes, about 12.5%, on all rent paid (rental agreement §14).

Optional Add-Ons

The Windshield & Tire Plan, $15 a day ($105 a week), covers rock chips, cracked windshields and flat or blown tires. Premium roadside, $10 a day ($70 a week), adds lockouts, flat-tire changes and an out-of-charge tow to the nearest Supercharger, up to 50 miles.

How Much Is a Weekly Rental Per Day and Per Mile?

Spread over seven days, a week's rent is $60.71 on a Model 3 and $85.57 on a Model Y. Spread over the 1,250 included miles, it is $0.34 a mile on a Model 3 and $0.48 on a Model Y.

Charging adds to that. Atrium's seven cars averaged 3.89 miles per kWh in August 2026, and the fleet's measured charging cost was $0.089 a mile, so rent plus charging comes to about $0.43 a mile on a Model 3 and $0.57 on a Model Y, before tax, insurance and other costs. The same cars averaged 187 miles a day. Over a week that is 1,309 miles, 59 past the allowance, which would add $17.70 on a Model 3 or $23.60 on a Model Y.

How Do These Rates Compare With Uber and Lyft Rentals in Salt Lake City?

The platform programs cost less per week and include insurance. Atrium costs more and leaves insurance to you. As of October 1, 2026, Uber's Salt Lake City marketplace listed rentals from Hertz and Avis at $240 to $329 a week before taxes and fees. Hertz's Tesla listing drops to $280 after seven straight weeks for drivers who average 30 or more Uber trips a week and meet its other conditions, including mileage.

If you want the lowest weekly price with insurance bundled in, the platform programs are cheaper. Atrium differs elsewhere: the agreement permits both Uber and Lyft, there is no trip requirement, maintenance is included, the fleet includes a 2026 Model Y, and a person in Provo answers texts at (385) 204-4272. We are rated 5.0 stars across 23 Google reviews. Renters add the car to Uber and Lyft themselves; final approval and ride-tier eligibility are decided by the platform and your driver account.

Not from Atrium. Rent is billed weekly, but the minimum rental is one month, and only active Uber and Lyft drivers can rent. Rent is priced for a rental of 31 days or longer, and a rental that ends before day 31 owes Utah's short-term rental taxes, about 12.5%, on all rent paid.
