Salt Lake has rental options — Uber's partner rentals and Lyft's Express Drive both operate there, cost less per week and include insurance, but each one is booked through a single app (prices and rules as of October 1, 2026 are on rideshare car rental in Utah). What It Costs
Every rental starts with your weekly rate ($425 Model 3 · $599 Model Y · $375 Camry from October), the one-time $25 application fee and a $300 refundable deposit. Costs on top of rent include your own qualifying auto insurance — or ask about coverage through Atrium's program — and your charging. Optional protection is listed with prices, not surprises, and the pricing page and the rental agreement list every charge.

Do I have to come to Provo?
Once, for pickup — about 45 minutes down I-15. Applications, approval, payments and support all happen online and by text. Returns and swaps are scheduled at the same Provo fleet center.
Can I drive Uber and Lyft in Salt Lake with an Atrium car?
Rideshare use is explicitly permitted in the rental agreement, and renters add the car to Uber and Lyft by uploading its registration and their own insurance document. Final platform and ride-tier eligibility is determined by the platform and your driver account.
What about maintenance if I live in Salt Lake?
Routine servicing is ours and we schedule it around your driving. For anything urgent, basic roadside assistance is included, and 24/7 premium roadside is available ($10/day, or included with Atrium's insurance program).
Is there a mileage cap that matters for full-time SLC driving?
The Teslas include 5,000 miles a month, measured as 1,250 a week ($0.30/mi past that each week on the Model 3, $0.40 on the Model Y). The Camry, when it arrives in October, has unlimited rideshare miles.
How fast can I start?
The application takes about three minutes, most drivers are approved within 24 hours, and if a car is available you can often pick up the next day.
